‘Hello Yellow Non-Uniform Day’ on Friday 10th October for World Mental Health Day

Dear Parent/Carer,

World Mental Health Day  - Friday 10^th October 2025

Every year, thousands of schools, companies and communities come together to make World Mental Health Day that little bit brighter by wearing something yellow. We will be celebrating this day and as a result October 10th will be a non-uniform day and all students are invited to come to school wearing something yellow in exchange for a £1 donation to Young Minds. This donation should be paid via ScoPay to ‘Hello Yellow Non-Uniform Day’

We know that the world can be a tough place for children and young people to grow up in. We want our students to know that they don’t have to go through challenges alone; things can get better if we support one another. This World Mental Health Day, we hope to raise awareness to show young people that they’re not alone with their mental health. We will be hosting a number of supportive activities in school throughout the week and on the day, including Form activities prompting discussion about the mental health of young people.

We do hope that the students enjoy these activities and that they promote the value of speaking about mental health and seeking support if needed.
