GCSE Exam Results 2022

Given the uneven impact of the pandemic on school and college performance data, the government has said you should not make direct comparisons between the performance data for one school or college and another, or to data from previous years.

Our 2022 Year 11 students leave us with results that enable them to successfully move onto the next stage of their education, having grown into well-rounded, responsible young adults. We wish them all the best of luck for the future and look forward to hearing of their successes and achievements.

Achievements in 2021/21 include:

Over a third of all grades were 9-7;

In English, 89% of all students achieved a grade 4 or higher and 73% a grade 5;

In mathematics, 78% of all students achieved a grade 4 or higher and 61% a grade 5;

  • % achieving grade 4 and above in English and mathematics = 77%;
  • % achieving grade 5 and above in English and mathematics = 57%;
  • % achieving 5 grade 4 and above, including English and mathematics = 75%;

Attainment = 55.02.

N.B We are currently awaiting a number of Review of Results (RoR) from exam boards and will update this summary as results continue to come in.
