Friends of Woking High School AGM - Thursday, 25th September at 6:00 pm in the school library.

Dear Parents/Carers, 

We hope you all had a good break over the summer, and would like to extend a welcome from us to the new students this year. If you haven't heard from us before, we would like to introduce you to the Friends of Woking High School. We run a variety of fundraising events throughout the year such as pre-loved uniform sales and raffles, so we can help to fund educational enhancements for the students. To give you some examples, last year a lot of fundraising went towards the new outdoor gym area, and at our most recent meeting we agreed to fund a new set of Aussie rules footballs for the PE department, a visualiser for the SEND department and a stair rostra (staging) for the Drama department. Please do have a look at our meeting minutes on the school website for more details to see what else we have been able to support!

We would like to invite you all to attend the Friends of Woking High School AGM, which will take place on Thursday, 25th September at 6:00 pm in the school library. This will be followed by the autumn Ordinary Meeting.  All parents and carers of Woking High School students are welcome to attend.

This meeting is a great way to get involved with FoWHS, so even if you only have the time to attend one of the three meetings a year it would be nice to see you. If you have any ideas on how to raise more funds for the Friends and can’t attend the meeting, then please contact us at FOWHS@wokinghigh.surrey.sch.uk .
