School Colours

At Woking High School, we acknowledge that students have many different talents and skills. We seek to recognise these through our rewards systems, and the introduction of our School Colours (KS4) / Half-Colours (KS3) programme in 2015/16.

School Colours recognise our top students in each subject area. Subjects are divided into one of 3 areas;

Criteria for colours
Achievement

  • The student will demonstrate high ability in the subject and perform above their school target grade.

Attitude

  • They will display an excellent attitude towards learning, maximising opportunities for development within the subject area.

Services

  • They will provide exceptional services to the subject and be an ambassador for the subject both in and out of school.

Awards

Each student being awarded School Colours or Half-Colours will receive a certificate at our Colours assembly and an appropriately coloured badge to wear on their blazer.

  • Half colours (KS3) – will receive a gold badge with subject written in the relevant colour
  • Full colours (KS4) – badge of the relevant subject colour with subject written
