Homework at Woking High School is a key aspect of each student’s curriculum. Tasks are set in order to further develop the knowledge and understanding that has been established during a lesson and to prepare for the learning that will take place in future lessons.
Homework enables students to:
- consolidate and extend work covered in class or prepare for new learning activities
- have an opportunity for independent work
- show progress and understanding
- enhance their study skills e.g. planning, time management and self discipline
- take ownership and responsibility for learning
- engage parental co-operation and support
Parents and carers are able to view the homeworks that teachers have set for their child via the ClassCharts app or website (https://www.classcharts.com/parent/login) using the login code provided.
