We are ambitious for all our young people and we want to provide them with the opportunity to succeed in every aspect of school life.

We provide an outstanding range of extended and enrichment curriculum activities and our nationally acclaimed innovative curriculum cycle allows us to provide for the wider curriculum.

The school provides an extensive sports programme throughout the year and offers a wide choice of sporting activities. Educational visits and experiences, locally, nationally and internationally allow all our students to extend their learning outside the school environment. They are encouraged to participate in a wide range of visits including residential outdoor activity weekends, team building courses to create confidence and develop friendships, exchange visits to European countries and visits to art galleries, museums and sites of historical interest. The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme is well established and many students gain Bronze and Silver awards whilst at the school.

A diverse range of clubs and subject support programmes are offered to students at lunchtimes and after school and we have a well developed work placement and business enterprise programme which forms part of the variety of learning experiences on offer to our students. We also welcome theatre groups, residential artists and arrange master classes to further inspire our students to achieve success.

Woking High School encourages all students to take part in all the Performing Arts and has an outstanding reputation for the high quality of its musical performance. We are justly proud of the school Windband which has attained local, national and international success.
